Our School District No. 57 StrongStart and StrongStart Outreach Early Learning programs currently service 13 sites across all 3 of our communities. Preschool

Future Spaces
Two new before and after school programs are scheduled to open in the fall of 2026. The first location is at Foothills Elementary, and a second space will open at Van Bien Elementary.
With funding support from the federal and provincial governments through the ChildCareBC New Spaces Fund, School District 57 is in the process of building two new 62-space child care centres.
- The first centre will be located at 4543 West Austin Road in Prince George, BC, and has a planned completion date of fall 2027.
- The second centre will be located at 2955 Third Avenue in Prince George, BC, and has a planned completion date of fall 2028.
